These shots are by photographer Mike Larson who uses the camera tossing technique (exactly what it sounds like – he sets a 2 second delay and then throws the camera in the air) as “much more than just a really unique way of capturing people with a cool angle, it was a conversation starter and a great way to break the ice and get people excited”.
I’m pretty sure I won’t be throwing my camera in the air any time soon. It’s not the throwing that worries me, it’s the catching. Or the potential smashing on the ground.
